Database Developer (Distributed Systems / MPP) — Remote (Global)
About the role
Be a core engineer on Cloudberry: drive query engine performance, scale-out behavior, and reliability. You’ll work across planner/executor, storage & IO integrations, and Kubernetes-native deployment patterns.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize core database components (query planner, execution engine, optimizer).

Build and tune distributed execution (MPP) and inter-node network protocols.

Integrate pluggable storage backends (object stores, block storage) and cloud-native patterns.

Improve concurrency, transaction/consistency semantics, and failure recovery.

Write thorough tests, benchmarks, and performance dashboards.

Contribute to the open-source project: PRs, design docs, and community review.

Collaborate with product, QA, and support to ship releases and run POCs.
Requirements

4+ years engineering experience building storage/DB/infra or related systems.

Technical Support Engineer — Remote (Global)
About the role
Customer-facing role that keeps Cloudberry deployments healthy. You’ll be the first line for production incidents, deep troubleshooting, and escalation to the core engineering team.
Responsibilities

Triage production incidents and customer support tickets; own the resolution.

Diagnose query performance, resource issues, and cluster health.

Provide runbooks, KBs, and proactive monitoring recommendations.

Work with engineering to reproduce and resolve bugs, and document fixes.

Assist customers and partners with onboarding, upgrades, and best practices.
Requirements

2–5 years experience in database support, SRE, or production operations.

Solid SQL skills and ability to profile/optimize queries.

About the role
You’ll be the technical face of Synx Data for enterprise prospects — design architectures, run POCs, and translate customer needs into Cloudberry solutions.
Responsibilities

Lead deep-dive technical workshops and discovery sessions with prospects.

Design scalable, secure Cloudberry architectures (cloud, hybrid, on-prem).

Run POCs and performance benchmarks tailored to customer workloads.

About the role

Responsibilities

Define product positioning, messaging, and launch plans for Cloudberry releases.

Run demand-generation campaigns (webinars, ABM, events, content).

Manage developer and community marketing: blog, OSS docs, and social channels.
