Privacy Policy

Last revised: April 16, 2026

Placeholder in review. This policy is being finalized with counsel. Authoritative privacy information lives at trust.synxdata.com in the meantime. This page will be updated when the reviewed version is ready.

1. Who we are

Synx Data Labs, Inc. ("Synx," "we," "us," "our") is a California corporation providing the SynxDB Cloud data warehouse and related services. When you interact with synxdata.com, our product, or our sales and support channels, Synx is the controller of the personal information described below.

2. What we collect

Account and contact information — name, email address, company, and role, collected when you sign up, start a trial, or contact us.

Product usage data — Software configuration, performance metrics, and aggregate usage telemetry, used to operate the service, troubleshoot incidents, and improve the product. Described further in Section 8 of our EULA.

Website analytics — coarse visitor analytics (pages viewed, approximate region, referrer) for traffic analysis. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies.

Support and billing records — messages you send us, documents you share, and invoicing history.

3. How we use it

  • Operate the service you've purchased, including verifying EULA compliance, invoicing, and providing support.
  • Improve Synx products, services, and user experience — in aggregate and de-identified form wherever possible.
  • Send operational communications (security notices, service updates, incident notifications).
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer data to train models for resale.

4. Who we share it with

Infrastructure providers — AWS (compute and storage), and other subprocessors listed on the Trust Center.

Service providers — analytics, payment processing, support tooling. Each is bound by written confidentiality and security obligations.

Legal and safety — disclosed only when compelled by law, or where necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as we have a lawful basis to do so. Account data is retained for the duration of the contract plus any period required by law. Support and incident records are retained per our internal record-keeping policy. Detailed retention terms are on the Trust Center.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information we hold about you; to object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll verify your identity and respond within the timeframe your jurisdiction requires.

7. International transfers

Synx is headquartered in the United States. When we transfer personal information outside the region of collection, we use appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses or equivalent) as required by applicable law.

8. Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Details of our security program (including any attestations and compliance certifications as they become available) are published on the Trust Center.

9. Children

SynxDB Cloud is a B2B product not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when this policy changes. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the page for at least 30 days. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
